The PR is split by risk:
- New features, migrations and auth → a person reviews and merges
- Everything else → if the risk classifier finds no problems, it merges automatically (about 35% of PRs)

After merge, GitHub Actions deploys.

Agent harnessAgents plan, build, test and review on their own.
Safe auto-mergeFixed rules always send new features, migrations and auth changes to human review. Everything else goes through a risk classifier built from static checks and AI review; refactors and minor fixes it clears merge automatically. About 35% of PRs now merge this way, and the time saved goes to reviewing the heavy changes.
CI/CD: deploys and migrationsAfter each merge, GitHub Actions deploys and runs migrations automatically. Migrations only ship after human review.
Vulnerability fixesAutomated from CVE detection to building and verifying the patch and deploying it to the development environment. It never goes to production automatically: in 2025–26, malicious code kept slipping into official packages, and even an official fix may not be stable yet.
Error to fixErrors caught by Sentry become fix pull requests.

flutter/packages #12998 · Approved by the Flutter team, waiting to be mergedFound and fixed a bug in image_picker_ios where images couldn’t be saved.
master-llm · PausedBuilt an evaluation harness that measures accuracy, cloud cost and time for each task, comparing a local LLM against Claude alone. On top of it I designed a router that sends each task to the cheaper model when it can: tasks become embedding vectors, and similar past tasks (kNN) show which model succeeded. Development is paused before the router was built.

Highlights

Automated ad submissions that used to be done by hand, building a system on the Google Ads API with an AI regulation check built in. It works with separately managed systems for ad generation and for billing and operations; I own the submission automation service. It cut a client’s monthly work from 80 hours to 5 (about 94% less, measured by the client before and after rollout); the client thanked me by name. AWS and GCP are joined with Workload Identity Federation: the ECS task’s IAM role authenticates as a GCP service account to reach the Google Ads API, so no long-lived keys or refresh tokens are stored. I also split YouTube uploading out of the submission system into an independent service with its own infrastructure and database, sharing the uploaded URLs with the submission side through a data integration service
Own the whole lifecycle on my own: requirements, design, build, test, release and operations
Built an AI-agent system that automates software development and rolled it out to the team: harness and loop design plus AI reviewers automate reviews, tests and deploys, and about 35% of PRs now merge automatically
Cloud on AWS and GCP, with infrastructure as code in Terraform
Added Google account sign-in (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect) with Amazon Cognito; built Sign in with Apple and Google into several of my own products

I’m Ryusei (Ray) Takiya; technobibi is the handle I build under. My résumé and LinkedIn are available on request. I learned programming from scratch at a programming school, then joined client projects while building my own products. I started as a web engineer; today I build AI agents, automate development workflows and ship my own mobile apps, so I work across a wide range. I’m from Tokyo, relocating to Vancouver in December 2026 and open to roles anywhere in Canada. I also share what I build on X (@techno_bibi).
